Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) | Speech and Language Therapy | Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy intervention focuses on enhancing sensory processing, improving gross and fine motor coordination and visual perceptual skills, as well as teaching daily living tasks like dressing and undressing, or eating different foods, to allow children with different types of difficulties to reach their full potential.

The McCarton Center has 4 certified Occupational Therapists, who are experienced in treatment of a wide range of areas including:

  • Sensory processing
  • Auditory processing
  • Oral-motor skills/ feeding
  • Visual Perception
  • Gross Motor Coordination
  • Fine Motor & Graphomotor Coordination
  • Handwriting
  • Self Care & Activities of Daily Living

Therapy sessions are one to one. Therapists are also experienced in school and home consultations. Fieldwork training for graduate occupational therapy students is also available.
